My do it yourself reef fish tank equipment E-books came about because I was sick and tired of Fish tank Equipment costing so much money. What most hobbyist don't know is that if they hire a professional to set up their tank, the crew comes in and and usually custom builds most of the equipment. So I set out to custom build most of my equipment, and I have to say that after doing so, I don't know why anyone would pay those EXTREMELY high prices for the store bought versions of the same equipment that I built. All the stuff I have built does without question match up with the most expensive stuff out there, for a fraction of the cost!!! (AND SO EASY TO BUILD)

Sump/Refugium

The Sump/Refugium Filter I explain how to build in this example is sufficient for reef tanks up to 90 gallons , although, depending on the size of your display tank , you can build a bigger one using the same concept. in this e-book I explain how to build one using a standard 20 gallon long tank, It cost about $50.00 to build, and other accessories you will need vary. Your tank may have pre drilled holes so you don't need an external overflow box. A water pump is needed and also varies to fit your size tank.

DIY Live Rock

I made All the rock in my tank, and it has been in my nano Tank for 8 months. The coralline algae is really growing beautiful on it. there is no question that this rock is now "LIVE ROCK". Nobody believes that I made the rock myself, you won't believe how EASY and how CHEAP it is to make. You can make 100's of pounds of rock, for the price that you would pay for one live rock.

Protein Skimmer

The skimmer I built was made from the white PVC pipes and fittings that you can get in every hardware store. it cost me $45.00 to build and is the best skimmer I ever had! The skim mate that this skimmer produces is UNBELIEVABLE!

Wet Dry Trickle Filter

This wet dry filter I explain how to build in this example is sufficient for reef tanks up to 100 gallons and cichlid tanks up to 125 gallons, although, depending on the size of your display tank , you can build a bigger one using the same concept. in the e-book I explain how to build one using a 20 gallon long tank and a 10 gallon tank, It cost about $50.00 to build and other accessories you will need vary.
